Dear Sir,

I am Yurai, and I am from South Korea. I studied Physical Education at Yonsei University and after that, I enlisted in the military for national service. I was the platoon leader and the human recourse officer during my stint in the military

After national service, I studied for my teaching certification in order to qualify as a teacher. Unfortunately, I was unable to do so. In a bid to broaden my skill sets and employability, I decided to take a 1-year course in the Philippines to study English. The 1 year in the Philippines allowed me to make friends with people of various nationalities, which was new to me, coming from Korea which is culturally homogenous. I decided that I had to broaden my horizons and took up the 1-year work holiday visa programme in Australia. I worked as a barista during my time in Australia, and was confident using English as my working language. I also learnt how to work and interact with people of different nationalities and cultures. It helped me to be more adaptable and resilient.

I am keen to work in Singapore because this is a place where East meets West and where there are lots of opportunities to develop myself professionally. I am a positive person and a good team player. I am also willing to learn new things and look forward to contribute to your company given the experiences I have.
