Job Title        : Applications and Operations Specialist (“AOS”) – Junior

Reports to     : Applications and Operations Manager

We create specialized, innovative, and technology-based applications in maritime operations.  Our R&D specialists apply a systematic approach in innovation that motivates adoption and recurring usage.  The Applications and Operation Specialist (“AOS”) helps customers adopt the application in their operations a seamless way, removing any adoption pain.

Our eLSA platform empowers the ship-agent in his daily activities enabling the carrier to minimize the ship’s turnaround time and voyage OPEX in port with help of digital applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our AOS is familiar in a ship-in-port specialization (for example, as a ship-agent or a bunker-surveyor, or a tug operator) with a flair or fondness for software application.  The AOS is pivotal to achieving product’s adoption. The AOS’ success is culminated in a complete phase-out of manual features to a fully digital offering (usually within a 6-month duration).

AOS plays 3 key “Ops2App” Functions:

Domain execution as MVP* Operator

·         Apply domain knowledge and perform daily operations with MVP

·         Conduct activities between customer and the vendor

·         Provide regular “Ops2App” feedback translating operational needs for digital and automated application

*MVP: Minimum Viable Product

Applications & Operations Analyst

·         Conduct, record and articulate application and operation function, workflow, tasks, nuances, exceptions, features

·         Identify major and minor gaps, challenges, variations and differentiations between manual operations and digital applications

Digital Enabler

·         Ensure project timeline is met

·         Provide final Phase-out feedback

Job Requirements:

·       Minimum a Diploma, preferably in shipping-related or technology studies

·       Experience in maritime commerce domain specialization (for example, a ship-agent or a bunker-surveyor) with a flair for technology application will be an advantage

·       Excellent communication & persuasion skills with a customer-centric orientation

·       Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a fast learner with tremendously positive attitude
