1. Job Title: Partner Deals Desk Analyst

 

Job Summary:

 

As a Partner Deals Desk Analyst you will provide an integral link between the NetApp’s Channels Sales organization, sales operations, Finance and external partners. You will be the subject matter expert with regards to the end-to-end Deals Registration processes. Being part of the function you will validate information, support deals registration related issues, with internal support by means of following through till the deals are closed in the system/tool (SFDC) within the stipulated SLA.
 
Essential Functions:

The essential responsibilities of the PDD Analysts are:-

  • Candidate and his/her fellow teammates will be responsible for NetApp partner deal registration program;
    • Accuracy and timeliness of deal registration reviews and approval
    • Effectiveness and the enforcement of NetApp rules of engagement
    • Customer experience (both internally and externally)
  • Candidate must demonstrate conflict management and customer support experience.
  • Candidate must articulate clear understanding of deal qualification process and BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timescale) requirements.
  • Position is desk bound and supports customers remotely over the phone.
  • Work with Inside Sales Rep team (TeleISS) and sales operations to ensure that lead is being tracked as the lead gets converted into opportunity.
  • Assist in resolving disputes related to deals registration.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting of SFDC deals.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work cross functionally and build strong working relationships with internal departments (Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, etc.)
  • Problem solving ability and attention to details are essential.
  • Organized and able to follow through partner’s deals and internal work flow and tools such as SFDC, Customer Edge & Partner Edge (Internal NetApp system).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in handling partner’s deals process is preferred.
  • A University degree is preferred. Diploma holders with relevant work experience maybe considered.
  • Experience with salesforce.com and oracl11i/12 is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Korean and English (written and spoken).

 

2. Job Title: TeleSales (TeleISS)

 

Job Summary:

 

As part of the APAC Pathways Team, you are responsible for supporting sales success by qualifying customers’ interests and demand for NetApp’s products and services to meet their technology and business needs.  You will utilize your strong customer service, communication and selling skills, effectively position NetApp’s new product, solutions and services.
 
Essential Functions:

The essential responsibilities of the TeleSales are to engage with customers directly over the telephone to:

  • Qualify opportunities within existing accounts through proactive outbound calling.
  • When speaking with customers, identify the need for, and provide a quote to the customer for:
    • Technology refresh
    • Product upgrades
    • Service Upgrades
    • Renewal Options
  • Identify proper entitlements, uplifts and technical education needs.
  • Generate BANT qualified leads by uncovering details on customers’ requirements, budget, timeline and decision makers.
  • Assign leads to channels partners by working with reps, channels development managers (CDMs) to identify the right partners to work with.
  • Support partners through the sales cycle with an eventual goal of converting the lead into opportunity.
  • Work with partner deal desk (PDD) and sales operations to ensure that lead is being tracked as the lead gets converted into opportunity.
  • Prepare weekly activity and progress reports on leads funnel.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.
  • Organized and able to follow department processes and work flow.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and analysis as needed to help customer make buying decisions.

 

Responsibility and Interaction:

 

  • Responsibility
    • This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.
    • Is responsible for a specific geographical install.
    • May have to own small to medium accounts or work on a team.

 

  • Interaction
    • This individual effectively works with internal personnel.
    • General direction is provided to them by their manager on routine work, and detailed direction is provided on new projects and assignments; as well as on-going review of activities and priorities.
    • The ideal candidate contributes proactively to sales team efforts and positively influences decisions of the team.

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant telemarketing/inside sales experience is preferred.
  • A University degree is required.
  • Experience which demonstrates a strong level of ability to understand the technical specifications required to sell NetApp products and services is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English & Korean (written and spoken).
