SNS July 2010, Waterfront Nightskate!

Woodlands Waterfront is the latest recreation facility, and part of it is available for the public. Located at the Northern tip of Singapore, it boasts a splendid view of night scenery of Johor Bahru.

Date: Saturday 31 July 2010
Time: 7.30pm
Starting Point: Yishun MRT Station
Ending Point: Woodlands Waterfront
Join us in this relaxing route from Yishun MRT Station through the neighbourhood of Yishun, Sembawang & Woodlands. Expect to cruise along a famous kite flying area near to the Singapore Sports School and bypass Vista Point Shopping Mall.
Enjoy skating at the Waterfronts spacious areas and enjoy the perfect sea breeze at the bridge extension that stretches far out from coast.
Getting there
Bus: 858, 965, 800, 812, 39, 85, 558, 559, 804, 806, 812, 852, 853, 854, 856, 857, 859
MRT: NS 13 Yishun
Parking
Northpoint Shopping Mall, neighbourhood carpark at Blk 100 series, 200 series and 700 series.
*Complimentary transport available at the Waterfront for return trip to NS 13 Yishun MRT Station and to NS 17/CC15 Bishan MRT Station (Circle Line)
Note:
- For advanced skaters and above
- Participants need to be proficient with turning, stopping and speed control
- Blinkers, torches and lights and safety gears are recommended
- Uneven terrain to be expected
