For those who wish to sit for the ABRSM Examinations, Practical &Theory, You need to be accessed and most of the time start from Grade 1 onwards. Students tend to not know exactly what they are playing on the piano. They do not know the notes, they do not know the counts. They have no feel of the piano piece. Therefore, basic fundamental training is needed for those who want to sit for the examination. Skipping of grades is not advisable as the standards of ABRSM has become more stringent compared to many years before. If you think your child wants some fun and entertainment with music, why not cultivate them to be professionals while its still early. OR Incorporate the music in them! Lets have fun together!
