UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a data driven user-experience (UX) designer who is able to understand our business requirements,  have an analytical approach to defining problems and adapt an experimental method to test and identify UX solutions. The role requires collaborative work with clients to understand business problems, analyse user behaviour backed by data using platform like Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics / other analytical platforms, conduct secondary research, create sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes. Plan and execute A/B tests and translating findings into actionable solutions. The UX designer will also be expected to manage the overall design process and oversee the smooth function of the product in order to ensure a great user experience.

Job Responsibilities

·        Consider the moments of engagement, or touch-points, between people and brands

·        Implement a cross-discipline perspective that considers multiple aspects of the brand/business/experience and create a way for businesses to align with design to solve problems

·        Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision

·        Define problems accurately backed by data analytics, knowledge to read data from Adobe Analytics/ Google Analytics or. similar analytical platforms and work closely with the analytics team

·        Adopt an experimental culture to test and identify winning UX solutions, has knowledge to setup A/B tests with Adobe Target or similar platforms

·        Develop assets or images to make opportunities tangible for various audiences

·        Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

·        Develop design concepts, wireframes, annotations and UX mapping

·        Create design briefs that outline design iterations, prioritized concepts and timelines

·        Develop choices around design and user interfaces that allow cross-discipline teams to solve customer pain points and challenges

·        Develop initial, low and hi-fidelity visual designs for prototypes

·        Perform wireframe iterations based on feedback from internal reviews and user testing

·        Prototyping and wireframe creation tools such as Figma, inVision, Sketch, Adobe CC

·        Estimating time and delivery of UX projects

·        Active involvement in workshops, research and testing sessions with stakeholders

·        Conduct UX research and give recommendations both in written and visual (wireframe) for Test concepts, perform task and user analysis, and assist with user acceptance testing

·        Develop prototypes that illustrate hierarchy, navigation and interaction

·        Strategize and drive interactive product development from site map to launch

·        Create compelling online consumer experience that drive business results

·        Take a data driven user-cantered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

·        Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

·        Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Job Requirements

·        Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in UX Design

·        Manage client with efficient communication and adapt a data driven approach to define user problems and solutions

·        Outstanding portfolio of prior work that demonstrates strong user-centric as well as visual design capabilities across a range of different projects

·        Deep knowledge of UI (e.g., typography, color theory, composition, iconography, etc.) and excellent analogue visual communication skills (e.g., sketching)

·        Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks)

·        Understanding to identify user patterns with user data sets from analytical platforms like Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics / similar analytical platforms

·        Knowledge to setup and execute A/B Tests

·        Expert understanding of IA architecture, workflows, concept development and interaction design

·        Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

·        A solid grasp of user-cantered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

·        Experience in translating UX research and usability test findings into insights

·        Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.

·        Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
