내용

Trade Assistant Full-time Contractor Position – Hire through SG local Recruitment Agency but work in one of US MNC in SG

•                  Ensure completeness and accuracy of trade documentation including electronic data, with core function: Commercial Invoice (CI) Generation

•                 Assists export permit application and ensure follow-up & filing work is completed for auditing purposes.

•                 Deliver training for Korea & Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines trade requirements and procedures

•                 Develop and implement trade relevant procedures and assist with self-assessments against Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines/Korea and US Trade regulations

•                 Release SAP Global Trade Services blocks for Korea and Japan

•                 Learn & acquire customs and trade compliance knowledge through on-the-job training  

•                 Internal Control Program – assist in filing / administrative work / develop flow chart

•                 Training – compile training materials / prepare attendance form

•                 Handle Import & Export issues

•                 Carry out Self-assessment periodic audit for Singapore/Malaysia & Philippines/Korea

•                 Work closely with Project Managers and logistics team for shipment matters.

  • Export paperwork   

  • Trade screening documentation  

  • Export strategic goods controls in SG & KR report submissions  

  • Submissions of monthly reports

  • Self-classification and denial party screening in Yestrade website

  • Co-work with KR customs broker

  • Update weekly report with internal stakeholders

  • Maintain Korea local HTS Database

  • Item Description update for escalated items

  • Internal communication review

  • Administrative work

  • Booking of meeting rooms

  • Assist in shipment records retrieval for Trade self-assessment as well as Internal/Customs audits

  • Filing, printing, ad-hoc duties etc.

 

Working/Supporting hours:

 

  • Normal period  

  • Monday – Friday

  • 7:30am – 4:30pm (since require to support Korea time zone)

  • Able to work from home during Covid-19 pandemic

 

 

 

Desired Skills set/Experience:

  • Proficient in computer skills (e.g.: Databases, MS Excel etc.)

  • Fast and willing learner & Flexible to changes (e.g.: Time and scope)

  • Positive attitude & Committed to work

  • Responsible and responsive

  • Meticulous in details, Patient, Team player

  • Some logistics or shipping experience preferred, however if no prior experience in Trade or Logistics, supervisors are more than willing to train

  • Working experience in SAP highly preferred

  • Communication in English

  • Conversational Korean

  • Read and Write Korean is a plus

  • Candidate with SG PR or SG Citizenship (Note: not able to apply employment pass or work permit)
