Job descriptions:

• Provide broker service to clients on Swap/futures or physical commodity in Fuel oil, Petrochemical, middle distillates products etc;
• Interaction with traders and handle negotiations of both parties (buyer and seller) concerned;
• Maintaining and developing a relationship with existing clients and make contact with potential clients to build new business opportunities;
• Developing and maintaining a portfolio of customers’ contacts and update changes;
• Tracking market movements, follow the financial news, analyze and understand the behaviour of trade of oil in the market;
• Visiting or meeting clients regularly face-to-face to create rapport, gather information and understand their requirements;
• Entertaining clients for relationship building and networking;
• Arranging and facilitating the trades done and input transactions into clearing-house systems such as ICE, CME or SGX portals;
• On-boarding new clients following the correct process with the Operation Team;
• Learning and understanding the physical cargo broking of petrochemical/fuel oil/bunker products, energy swap/futures business and how trades are made to facilitate broking of such aforementioned products.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experienced in energy/commodities broking position will be an advantage. 
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently to internal and external stakeholders.
• Team orientated – the ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to work effectively in high pressure and fast pace environment.
• Individual who are highly energetic, motivated and enjoying doing sales and business development.
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Written/Oral). Any other languages (Mandarin/Japanese/Spanish/Italian etc.) will be an advantage.
