[Cross-border Investment Support Officer]

About this role:

The Investment Support Officer is a hybrid role responsible for account management and business development in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The successful candidate can lead FDI promotion and procedure between Singapore and Korea, and facilitate investment promotion events. 

What you'll do:

- Have an ownership in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Korea through relationship management with current and potential investors in Singapore, and developing potential investors as well as investment projects to Korea.

- Achieve given FDI notification amount quota and other KPIs

- Organize and coordinate FDI related events, such as Investment Relations (IR), investment roundtable meetings, demo days, one-on-one business meetings on a regular basis to promote Korea as an investment destination to investors, with the ultimate goal of inducing FDI into Korea

- Arrange business meetings for investment delegations from Korea with Singapore government agencies and Singapore based potential investors

- Present research findings regarding FDI between Singapore and Korea and Investment landscape research on Singapore/South Asia markets in written form to management

- Assist Korean companies' to expand in Singapore, provide consultation service on incorporation, regulation and license, employment visa, and introduction of potential partners.

- Work closely with Singapore based M&A advisory firms to support Korean investors’ overseas acquisition projects sourcing

- Maintain CRM up-to-date and update project and support details

- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by management

Qualifications

Who you are:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree

- 2+ years’ experience in account management or business development

- Experience in cross-border investment would be a plus

- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to detail and strong ownership

- Comfortable influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with C-Suites and senior executives

- Possess strong customer focus and networking skills and excellence in building networks

- Excellent command of English in speaking and writing, and proficiency in Korean is desirable, but not essential for the role (as needs to liaise with Korean speaking clients)

- Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter with team player attitude and orientation

- Able to prioritize, manage deadlines and work under pressure

- Strong IT skills and be proficient in MS Office Suite

- Willing to travel abroad when necessary
