Field Engineer II 

NEXPA, leader in smart parking and smart traffic-enforcement industries (www.nexpasystem.com) is looking for candidates who have industry experience and technology expertise, especially in video analytic based parking solution (PGS and PMS).

Nexpa System Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch Office is looking for Field Support Engineer II (mid level engineer)

Main Tasks:

1. The Field Support Engineer is responsible for providing the first level technical support and expertise to the customers and our partners during the solution deployment and maintenance services. 
2. Plan and deliver PoCs (Proof of concepts) and demonstrations
3. Provide field OJT and hands-on training to the partner engineers
4. Along with the partners, help install network, servers, camera sensors and LPR (License Plate Recognition) machines.
5. Configure and fine-tune the overall system (PGS and PMS)
6. Able to provide technical advices to the partners for system integration and API development
7. Conduct site surveys
8. Help design and provide system schematics and drawings to the customer and partners

Common Tasks:

1. Provide 2^nd level support to the customers and partners on Nexpa Products and manage issue escalations– interfacing with the HQ R&D and support teams (in S. Korea)
2. Participate in various workshops and exhibitions
3. Develop product and solution presentation materials
4. Must be able to travel overseas - sometimes with short notice– 30-50% 

Skill Requirements:

1. 3+ year experience in sales engineering or field support engineering
2. Knowledge in Image/Video Processing – encoder, analog/IP camera architecture, OCR (understanding how it works) and codecs is a plus
3. CCTV systems and understanding of video analytics is a plus
4. Sound understanding or ability to learn PGS and PMS solutions  quickly in the parking industries
5. Proficiency in Windows Server, networking and basic Linux skills
6. DB installation and setup skills are plus
7. One of the following working experiences (Preferred): 
   1. Parking Solutions Installation and Project Deliveries
   2. CCTV System Installation and Project Deliveries
   3. Traffic Enforcement (Technical)
8. Prefer SG Citizen or PR with no travel restrictions
9. Proficient in English and Korean
10. BA/BS degree or equivalent
