1. Junior Role

 

Mission

The Commercial Associate/Analyst, APEJ will be responsible for supporting the end to end deal support activities and ensure alignment with internal global policies. This includes:

 

Commitments

• Maintain client relationships, taking ownership of problem resolution in this process, accurately handling processing/transaction requirements, applying effective research techniques, and promoting client satisfaction and sales productivity.

• Manage day to day local issues and identify ownership for resolution with internal and external business partners.

• Maintain close partnership with finance professionals responsible for Professional Services and Business Partners

• Work with regional and controllership to ensure communication and reporting accuracy and regional issues.

• Coordinate change management if needed

• Provide some ad hoc support in areas of accounting operations, audit requests where local help is needed by New York City based finance team and local

• Any ad-hoc tasks requested by the manager.

• This position is located in the Singapore office.

 

 

Competencies

• Strong computer skills, including Excel

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Highly-organized, detail-oriented, flexible team-player, ability to resolve conflict/disputes

• Ability to articulate and compare alternatives approaches.

• Positive and proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize and multitask

• Command of native Chinese/ Korean (read/write/speak) with business level English required

 

 

Your Education & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Experience at a global SaaS company preferred or enterprise software/ Big 4 public accounting firm would be preferred.

 

 

 

 

2. Senior Role

 

Mission

The Commercial Senior Analyst, APEJ will be responsible for supporting the end to end deal support activities and ensure alignment with internal global policies. This includes:

 

Commitments

• Provide daily working end-to-end financial support to the Sales Team bringing together aspects of transactional pricing, and contract structuring through partnership with Commercial Finance team, Sales Ops, and Legal Departments.

• Engagement with the Sales Team to have knowledge of both key large deals as well as pipeline quality, yield, and levers

• Project impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.

• Responsible for understanding and providing support on the costing drivers on key new opportunities, including assumptions and version control documentation

• Maintain close partnership with finance professionals responsible for Professional Services and Business Partners

• Provide training to APAC staff including topics of pricing, revenue recognition and deal structure.

• Provide input to revenue forecasting related to APAC deals as required

• Provide some ad hoc support in areas of accounting operations, audit requests where local help is needed by New York City based finance team and local

• Any ad-hoc tasks requested by the manager.

• This position is located in the Singapore office.

 

 

Competencies

• Strong commercial (Business and Sales) acumen

• Basic knowledge in at least 2 of the following functional topics:

o Revenue Recognition

o Pricing

o Contracting

o Quote Support

o Legal

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in CRM, Q2C & ERP systems such as Salesforce, Apttus and Netsuite or similar system preferred

• Ability to maintain sufficient independence from the deal to ensure credible economics

• Command of native Chinese/ Korean (read/write/speak) with business level English required

 

Your Education & Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Experience at a global SaaS company preferred or enterprise software/ Big 4 public accounting firm would be preferred.
