As a Fashion Retail Management Trainee, you are required to be self-motivated and confident, display independence and entrepreneurial spirit, together with competent sales abilities whilst honing your management and leadership capabilities.

Selected candidates will be exposed to critical departments (i.e. Marketing, Product development and design, Human resource) with retail sales management as the core, mainly in the form of hands-on experiential work.

As a partner to the company, you will be placed on a 3 month probation and expected to contribute in assigned departments and tasks, and will only pass if you have executed your roles satisfactorily based on key performance indicators.

After the probation period, roles will be assigned in various job functions, which typically last 3-6 months per phase for evaluation and assessment, and job functions you will ultimately specialize in thereafter will depend on your performance and strengths respectively.

Successful candidates will ultimately be equipped with an arsenal of vital skills and expertise essential in luxury retail management, and will get to play an active part in guiding and working with staff in grooming gentlemen for various occasions and events.

The Expectation

You will be expected to

  • Handle store operations
  • Lead the sales team to meet sales targets
  • Undertake adhoc projects and other leadership roles in selected departments
  • Provide fashion and styling advice suited to customer needs
  • Assist customers in enquiries, sales purchase and after-sales activities
  • Maintain and manage merchandise displays and inventory
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties

The Requirements

  • Possess minimum a diploma/degree in local polytechnics/universities, preferably in Retail/Fashion Management, Business or relevant disciplines
  • Possess drive, initiative and embrace opportunities to learn
  • Good leadership skills with ability to lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales target in line with business objective
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, confident and self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Well-groomed and neat looking
  • Able to multitask adapt well in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work retail hours, on weekends and public holidays
  • Immediate availability with no prior job commitments, and relevant work experience will be an advantage.
