Partner Relationship Specialist

 

Symantec looks to its Channel Partners for the majority of its revenue and needs to ensure that Partners understand policies and process for effective fulfilment of customers’ orders. The enablement of the Partners is pivotal to customer satisfaction and retention. The global team will engage with partners to educate and support them, building relationships and commitment that grow the business.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Working in a global team, ensuring that Distributors and Partners have all they need to do business with Symantec.
• Maintain strong relationships with key internal functions such and Channel Operations, Sales Operations and Renewals.
• Engage in outbound communication with Partners to educate them in Symantec policies and processes.
• Respond to Partner queries in a timely fashion, referring to other internal teams where necessary.
• Act as ‘The Voice of the Partner’, ensuring that the Symantec Channel business is fully aware of any issues of concerns.
• Facilitate the transition of customers from on premise licences to the Cloud through support of the Partners.

 

Profile / Qualifications

• Proven track record in customer service for international markets.
• Demonstrated aptitude in Symantec Channel policies, processes and systems.
• Intimate knowledge of the Secure One Program.
• Ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally.
• Extensive product knowledge, with particular expertise in licensing.
• A strong knowledge of the Symantec Renewals processes.

 

Competencies

• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented

  environment.

• Proven capability to work in a fast-paced setting on various scenarios simultaneously.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluent Korean speaker, Mandarin desired.
• Good command and comprehension of English for communication with global English-speaking markets.
• Proactive nature to ensure follow up, drive to resolution and problem solving.
