Job Title: Sr Coord-Client Svcs Mgmt The Billing Specialist is the de facto expert for the Billing Operations and related communications for their customers for all non-technical inquiries raised within Verizon. Be a strong customer advocate.Be the de facto point of contact for Global Enterprise Customers requiring support with their complex and/or non-standard billing operations. Be the first and last contact for all non-technical inquiries with respect to customer communications. Drive a portfolio of customers’ service requests in such a way that the service experience our customers get is constantly improved. Deliver a customer-oriented experience such that inspires recommendation. Responsible for pro-actively monitoring/supporting the resolution of all non-technical Service Requests and the communication with the customer on progress and conclusion. Monitor and progress debt related issues, providing credit notes where required. Ensure relevant customer files and database records are regularly validated and maintained with correct information by the appropriate teams. Provide input to quick reference cards and Global Service Plans with regards to any billing related information and processes. Critical member of the Account team – led by the Client Success Manager (CSM), the Billing Specialist will be expected to support the activities of the CSM, Client Partner (CP) or Program Manager (PM) with respect of the billing activities of their accounts Be aware of account activities. Demonstrate good understanding of customer's business and their service expectations and billing strategy. Proactive review of customer invoices to pre-empt any billing issues. Be involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of billing flows or hierarchies ensuring the customer is installed and/or integrated to the appropriate Verizon Business billing platforms. First Invoice review for new services enabled for customers. Serve as account team Subject Matter Expert (SME) on complex customer contracts and billing requirements Proactive review (where contracted) to initiate and manage credit requests and postings for customers. Assist in the development of policies and practises to improve department efficiency. Note - Relevant overseas applications will be considered. What we’re looking for... You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience. Experience with Microsoft Office. Fluent English and fluent or near native level Japanese Even better if you have: One or more years of financial and billing experience Excellent customer communications skills Previous experience within a Sales/Customer Service/Relationship Management. Excellent understanding of post sales billing related service or financial service management processes. Sound knowledge of telecoms/ security/ cloud/ professional services and products. Knowledge of Verizon product portfolio. Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret customers’ problems, putting together action plan and drive/implement solutions. Team Working Skills.
