Job Title: HR Payroll and Operations Analyst for Korea

 

 

Position Objective:

  • Provision of an efficient and accurate employee administration processing within a Shared Service team of HR1.
  • Act as the first line of advisory service to the Shared Service customers for HR & payroll related matters and benefits (employees, managers, external candidates and providers)

 

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as first point of contact for all HR & payroll related employee issues/questions via phone or email.
  • Services include: Payroll, general benefits, employee compensation, policies etc
  • To undertake adjustments and calculations in regards to salary administration
  • To verify information held in personnel database (Workday) and employee personnel records
  • To ensure all departmental filing (employee Pfile) is kept up to date.
  • Management of employee documentation from start to termination
  • Administer company benefits such as pension plan, medical plan etc.
  • Administer Leave and Sickness requests
  • Monitor probation process and provide relevant timely information to managers
  • Ensure company’s HR information portal is updated timely
  • Utilizes case management application when appropriate to track and monitor on-going employee issues or concerns
  • Ensure the accuracy of the HR1 process documentation
  • Ability to diagnose a problem and lead correction efforts through effective communication and efficient execution.

  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and inconsistencies and collaborate towards an improved and more productive process that enhances the employee and/or manager’s experience with the process

*Minimum Qualifications (must have)

 

Education:  Tertiary education in Business would be advantageous

Languages: Good oral and written knowledge of English and Korean

Other Experience:

  • Preferably 6 years HR administration experience in a corporate and or Shared Service environment. 
  • Experience with Korea payroll.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools
  • Experience with Workday or any other HR employee management system tool (i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft)
  • Strong team player with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
