Our client is a well known integrated logistics service provider with a Global footprint spread across more than 400 locations, enabling a global exchange of goods via land transport, worldwide air and ocean freight, contract logistics and efficient supply chain management.

Working out of the regional head office located in Singapore, you will be part of the Account Management team and will assume responsibility for all Regional operations for Key Account in Hi-Tech Vertical focusing on Finished Goods business, Returns Logistics and Domestic Distribution for the clients Korean customer.

You will work closely with the customer to drive key initiatives and scale planning for the operations in the APAC region and will drive Operational Excellence through 5S, POP, continuous improvement initiatives and monthly performance reviews. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible to monitor productivity/scale within operations and facility, and work with local countries on optimizing processes and facilities for scalability to continuously support customer volume growth.

- Responsible for Regional alignment of processes across countries, and overall compilation and maintenance of SOPs.
- Overall driver for regional operations planning and special events control and reporting. - Responsible to conduct Audits in the country operations to ensure process and documentation compliance, and quality.
- Work very closely with the IT Account Management team country to implement capabilities to improve reporting capabilities as well as potential EDI improvements with client’s systems.
- Support implementation for new business projects, you will be responsible to work with project management team to align on implementation schedules, driving operations process mapping. - Manage outstanding damage claims from clients.
- Working with the countries to provide the best solution and Tracking of CAR (Corrective Actions Report).

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering with 6-8 years of experience in managing Logistics operations, specifically Returns or Spare Parts Logistics and/or domestic distribution
- Prior experience in handling customer accounts in Hi-tech industry is required.
- Must possess prior experience in setting up, or managing large scale warehouse operations with the ability to understand B2B IT systems and WMS in order to discuss/ translate Business requirements to IT counterparts
- Certification/knowledge of Quality systems such as ISO or 6-Sigma will be advantageous - SAP knowledge will be a plus (but not mandatory)
- MUST be able to speak KOREAN as this candidate will be managing a key Korean customer which involves liaising extensively with counterparts and stakeholders in Korea.
