What you’ll be doing…

As the product expert of Tableau Software, you have the knowledge and confidence to work with customers who are making new discoveries about their business on a daily basis. Sales Consultants are the face of Tableau’s products; understanding, developing, demoing and presenting customer stories to ensure they choose our solutions. You thrive on working hard with a lot of customers, consistently hitting your number, and doing whatever it takes to delight customers.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include…
• Master the benefits, features and application of Tableau’s products
• Provide presales support for all sales activities including needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations and other general sales support for assigned territories.
• Communicate via phone, email, face-to-face and web meetings with prospects assisting and guiding them through the evaluation and selection process
• Drive all aspects of successful Proof of Concepts from requirements and design to training and delivery
• Communicate daily with sales staff regarding sales activities and strategies
• Provide onsite and web-based customer training and professional services
• Educate and train the sales force in the features and use of Tableau products
• Be the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development

• Experienced. 5 or more years in as a Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant.
• Cross-Cultural. You enjoy the opportunity to travel abroad and have experience relating to customers from a variety of Asian countries and cultures. Fluency in English required. Skills in Asian languages a plus.
