SNS July 2012 - Park Connector Night Skate II
Skateline presents Park Connector Night Skate II for the month of July!
After introducing the Serangoon Park Connector back in February from Hougang to Punggol, this month we feature another favourite Park Connectors on the Eastern Side of the island - The Coastal Park Connector.
Date: 28 July 2012, Saturday
Time: 7:30pm sharp
Venue: Skating Rink near car park C3, former Marine Cove
Distance: ~18km
Spanning across a distance of 12km, this connector begins from East Coast Park and ends at Changi Beach Park 7, amidst a myriad of greenery and scenery of the sea. Put your endurance to the test.
Enjoy an evening of serenity skating and be greeted by the sea breeze and moonlight. Enjoy the magnificent view of commercial aircrafts coming in and out of the Singapore Changi Airport.
Savor the array of delicacies from Changi Village Food Centre, widely famous for its sumptuous Nasi Lemak, a local favourite Malay Cuisine.

*Complimentary bus service will be provided from Changi Village Food Centre back to East Coast Park service road
Note:
- Suitable for Intermediate level and above
- Participants must be very proficient of Stopping, Turning and negotiating different obstacles and terrain, and speed control
- Participants must observe traffic rules and must not cause any disturbance or nuisance to the public
- Participants are advised to adhere to instructions by the Skate Marshals
- Route is subjected to changes without prior notice
- Experience in long distance skating is preferred. You are advised to condition yourself before taking part
- Only registered participants can receive SMS notification for cancellation of event in case of inclement weather.
