Saturday Night Skate(SNS)

7월 SNS 공지가 올랐습니다. SAV(인라인자원봉사대)와 함께하는 월정기 행사입니다.

East Coast Park 에서 출발하여 Chani Village 까지 해안도로와 공원(PCN-The Coastal Park Connector) 을 가로지르는 인라인로드가 되겠습니다.

관심있으신 분들은 아래로 연락을 취해주시기 바랍니다. 한국촌 분들은 특별히 등록하실 필요는 없습니다. Coach Moon의 Korean Inline-skating Club  라고 말씀하시면 됩니다.  단, 초보자분들은 참가하실수 없습니다. 정지기술, 방향전환, 내리막 등에 대한 조절이 가능하셔야 합니다.

SNS July 2009 - Coastal Nightskate, Register Now!

Join us this month for this easy and relaxing nightskate along the scenic Eastern Coastline on one of the best connector in Spore - The Coastal Park Connector (PCN). Details as follow:

Date: 25th July 2009
Time: 7.30pm
Location: Skateline East Coast Park
Route: East Coast Park to Changi Village along Coastal PCN
Distance: ~18km


This PCN strategically links East Coast Park to Changi Park and Changi Village with a great panaromic view of the sea. Catch a glimpse of the magnificent commercial aircrafts taking off and landing at Singapore Changi Airport, and the ferries docking in and out at the ferry terminals.

The connector consists of flat and even terrain generally with a few traffic junctions to cross. Average gradient slopes can be expected. It is perfect for advanced beginners who wants to have a go at challenging to skate longer distances without too many obstacles.

Complimentary bus service will be provided at the end point with stopover at East Coast Park Marine Cove and at The Esplanade.

Important:
- Participants must be conversant with speed control, turning and stopping.
- Bring adequate amount of liquids along for the skate. Water points are rare along the connector and parks.
- Torches, blinkers and lights are recommended for illumination. Some areas are dark.
- Due to the continual outbreak of the H1N1 virus, you are strongly advised to seek doctors advise if you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of the flu before participation.
