Singapore: Inside Out is finally home! After successful showings at the creative capitals of Beijing, London and New York, Singapore: Inside Out returns to its home base for a timely year-end celebration of our creative talents. The showcase aims to share the narrative of Singapore’s burgeoning creative scene, shining the spotlight on our local artists who have helped shape Singapore as a vibrant home for local residents and an appealing destination for visitors.

The finale of this travelling showcase will be held at Tan Quee Lan Street, in the Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) precinct. Located in the heart of Singapore's Civic Centre, this arts and cultural district is a reflection of Singapore’s unique blend of the contemporary and historic, with vibrant and energetic creative communities alongside heritage monuments and iconic museums.

FREE DAILY SHUTTLE There will be a free daily shuttle that will travel to Singapore: Inside Out, the National Gallery Singapore and Singapore Visitor Centre from 27 November to 6 December 2015. Pick-up and drop-off points for the bus shuttle will be along Tan Quee Lan Street. Please click here for the bus schedule and route information.

Singapore: Inside Out All-day Core Showcase: Through the exploration and interpretation of the Singapore narrative by some 20 homegrown creative groups and individuals, this intimate multi-sensory collection of works re-imagines Singapore and sets out to inspire new perspectives while challenging existing impressions of our nation.

8.30pm to 10.00pm - SGMUSO Live Showcase: SA, Caracal with visual collective, NMAThis live showcase, presented by The Music Society, Singapore (SGMUSO) in partnership with Singapore: Inside Out, brings together contemporary ethnic trio SA and post-hardcore band Caracal in a musical collision of polar opposites in a fitting celebration of Singapore’s diverse music scene. Be prepared for an electrifying live experience with visual collective NMA adding to the potent mix.About SA: Founded in 2010, SA creates its own soundscapes, producing art that can be heard. The band’s name pays tribute to the ancestral ethnic roots of their Singaporean band members –“仨” means “three” when translated from Northern Chinese dialect. SA aims to explore all the possibilities that sound has to offer, regardless of culture or tradition. About Caracal: One of Singapore’s foremost post-hardcore bands, Caracal dishes out a ferocious rock mix of colossal riffs, catchy melodies and epic choruses. Anchored by a raw, brutal honesty in their lyrics and themes, the band was recently invited to play at the Summer Sonic Festival 2015 and embarked on a five-date tour in Japan. About NMA: New Media Assembly (NMA) is an audio-visual collective based in Singapore. Their goal is to synergise aesthetic and auditory skills at the highest level. With a love for the arts and technology, they also aim to infuse technological knowledge in their artistic endeavours, thereby creating a harmonic relationship between the two platforms.
