TAKE TWO
Sat 22 Mar | 7pm | UCC Foyer
Formed in late 2012, Take Two has become known for their infectious guitar riffs and groovy bass lines, playing what they call "indie dance rock": a blend of eclectic influences ranging from Brit rock to jazz. In their words, it is more the result of being unable to particularly excel at any particular genre but somehow still managing to keep everything intact as a musical package. The band’s earnest vocals also leave audiences clamouring for more, as they belt out three part harmonies line after line with heartfelt lyrics. Together, these five boys are united by everything that gets your feet moving and fists pumping; writing songs on the dancefloor (probably during Poptart nights at Velvet) with the bedroom in mind.
