싱가포르 환경청 (Ministry of State for the environment and water resource) 은 싱가포르 내 흡연자 감소 및 환경 문제 완화를 위해 흡연 금지 구역을 아래와 같이 확장할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다.



기존 흡연 금지 구역 외 Void deck, Common corridor in the block of flats, Sheltered walkway, Overhead bridge, Bus stop and within its 5m radius 가 흡연 금지 구역으로 곧 추가될 예정이며 흡연 금지구역에서 흡연을 하다 적발될 경우 최고 $1,000 의 벌금형을 받을 수 있습니다.



흡연 금지구역 (현재 적용 지역)



- Amusement centres and skaing rinks

- Hospitals (indoors)

- Supermarkets

- Departmental stores and shopping malls

- Public Libraries, museums. art galleries, convention halls. ballrooms, function rooms

- Buses (public and private), trains, taxis, bus shelters amd interchanges

- Banks

- Courts (Supreme, Subordinate)

- Air-Conditioned offices

- Changi Airport, Ferry terminals

- Underground pedestrian walkways

- Queues in public places

- All schools and enclosed areas in universities

- Public toilets

- Community centres, enclosed areas in private clubs

- Exercise areas, sports stadiums, swimming pools

- All hawker centres, coffee shops amd food establishments

- All entertainment outlets such as pubs, bars, discos & lounges

- Multi-storey carparks

- Lift Lobbies

- Within a 5m radius of entrances and exits to buildings

- Sheltered walkways and linkways

- Sheltered overhead bridges

- Hospital outdoor compounds

- Extension of a 5m radius of entrances and exits to buildings
