M1 은 5월 18일에 발생한 통신 네트워크 장애로 인해 M1 핸드폰 이용자들이 전화를 이용 못하게 되는 불편을 겪게 되었다고 밝히며 5월 25일(수) 1일 동안 (12am to 11.59pm) 싱가포르 내 통화 및 SMS, MMS 이용을 무료로 제공한다고 발표하였습니다. M1 통신사를 이용하시는 분들은 참고하시기 바랍니다.
