National Population and Talent Division 과 Department of Statistics 는 2010년 싱가포르 각종 통계 자료를 아래와 같이 발표하였습니다. 주요 카테고리는 인구변동 (Population Profile), 결혼 (Marriage), 가족 (Family), 교육 (Education), 구사언어 (Language spoken at home), 종교(Religion) 등이며 2000년도 Singapore Census 자료와 비교해 증가 및 감소폭을 조사한 자료입니다.

# 인구변동 (Population Profile)

1) 싱가포르 인구 (Singapore Population) : 5.08 million (from 4.03 million in 2000)

Citizens : 3.2 million ( +8%), Permanent Residents : 541,000 (+88%), Non-Resident : 1.31 million (+73%)

2) 인종 현황 (Mix among residents)

Chinese : 74.1%, Malays : 13.4%, Indian : 9.2%, Others : 3.3%

# 결혼 (Marriage)

1) 싱글 (Single and swinging) 증가 : 1 million (32% of residents Up from 30%)

2) 남성 40 to 44, secondary qualifications 아래의 학력, 싱글 (24.1%),
여성 40 to 44, University qualifications  학력, 싱글 (23.5%)

# 출생 (Family)

1)  거주자 평균 출생률 (Ave no. of Children) : 2.02 (Residents)

2) 싱가포르 시민, 영주권자 평균 출생률 비교 (Ave no. of children) : Citizen 2.08 Vs PR  1.72

# 교육 (Education)

More Post-secondary qualification : 49% (Up from 33%)

Gradute : 23% (Up from 12%), Literate : 96% (Up from 93%), Bilingual : 71% (Up from 56%)

# 가정에서 영어를 사용하는 경우 (인종별)

Chinese : 32.6% (Up from 23.9%), Malays :17% (Up from 7.9%), Indians : 41.6% (Up from 35.6%)

# 종교 (Religion)

Buddhism (42.5%), Taoism (8.5%), Christianity (14.6%), Islam (14.9%), Hinduism (4%). Other religions (0.6%), No religion (14.8%)
