Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) 와 Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sport (MCYS) 는 종교 단체의 공공 모임 시설에 대한 지나친 이용을 막고 다양한 단체들의 균형있는 이용을 장려하기 위해 아래와 같이 사설 이용을 제한한다고 발표하였습니다. 이번 정책은 싱가포르내 모든 종교 단체에 바로 적용이 된다고 하오니 참고하시기 바랍니다.

* 모임 시설의 예 : hotels, auditoriums, function halls, convention centres and cinemas to be used in a limited, non-exclusive way by religious groups that hold large gatherings

- no more than 20,000 sq m of a commercial complexs gross floor area (GFA), or 20 per cent of GFA, whichever is lower, may be used for religious purposes. And such activities may be held for no more than two days a week

- A religious organisation is also limited to using 10,000 sq m, which is equivalent to about 11/2 football fields. This will ensure that a religious organisation does not dominate a particular commercial complex
