국가 경쟁력 전문 심사 기관인 International of Management Development (IMD) 에서 발간한 2010년 World Competitiveness Yearbook 2010 에 따르면 싱가포르가 국가 경제 경쟁력 순위에서 1위, 한국이 23위로 나타났습니다. 2위는 홍콩, 3위는 미국 순으로 알려졌으며 주요 심사 카테고리는 Labour market concerns, Institutional Framework, Business Legislation, International Trade, Financing, Fiscal Policy, Infrastructure, Cost of Living 등입니다. 정 (irisjungmin)고대 polis 처럼 도시국가인 싱가폴과는 국제 경쟁력 비교는 그리 큰 의미가 없을듯 하구요 말레이지아가 10위이면 제주도는 1위 입니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
