싱가포르 환경청 에이전시 (National Environment Agency, NEA) 는 공휴일 (일요일, 국가 공휴일) 에 공사 현장 주변에서 소음으로 인한 피해가 많이 접수되고 있다고 밝히며 공사지역 150m 이내 거주지가 있을 경우 아래 시간대에는 공사와 관련된 일을 제한하는 규제법을 올해 9월 1일부터 내년까지 단계적으로 적용할 예정이라고 발표하였습니다.

올해 9월 1일부터

변경 후 : Will not be allowed to carry out constrcution activities between 10pm on the eve of a sunday or public holiday and 10 am the next day

내년 9월 1일부터

변경 후 : NEA will extend this prohibition to the entire day on sundays and public holidays
