The examination results will be released on the official TOPIK website at www.topik.go.kr on the date above.

*Note: The examination result release date will be subject to changes depending on circumstances.*

You will need to bring on the actual exam day:

1) Identification Document (any below) (original copy only, photocopy not allowed)

- Identification Card; OR

- Passport; OR

- Driver’s Licence; OR

- Student EZ-Link Card (Primary/Secondary/JC/Poly/ITE only)

** Document must show your name, photo, birth date and NRIC/FIN **

2) Hard-copy printout of registration confirmation form.

*Showing of softcopy application form on electronic devices is not allowed

*Please be punctual. Applicants who do not reach the test room by 08:40 (TOPIK I) or 11:50 (TOPIK II), will not be allowed to enter the school and take the exam.



Grading Criteria

TOPIK I: Total score of 200

TOPIK II: Total score of 300

Above 80 marks: Grade 1

Above 120 marks: Grade 3

Above 140 marks: Grade 2

Above 150 marks: Grade 4

 

Above 190 marks: Grade 5

 

Above 230 marks: Grade 6

TOPIK I and II is identified by the application number.

TOPIK I starts with a 7; e.g. 019017000XXX

TOPIK II starts with an 8; e.g. 019018000XXX

Shuttle Bus Schedule

Although there are car park slots in the school compound, applicants are encouraged to take the shuttle bus. Non-test takers are strictly not allowed to enter the school compounds (even if you just need to use the toilet), and test-takers are not encouraged to drive as there are very limited parking slots within the school carpark.

The shuttle bus will be to and from opposite the Nexus Bus Stop (42039) to SKIS.

Stationery:

TOPIK Center does not allow any pens or pencils, so you MUST use the marker from TOPIK Center.

Otherwise, the machine cannot recognize your answer sheet if you use your own pen or pencil.

We will give them out to all of the applicants on the actual test day in the examination class.

The marker has both the broad pen and fine pen.

You can use the broad pen for shading and fine pen for writing.

Correction tape will also be given out by the exam supervisors during the exam.

Food & Drinks:

Please bring your own food and drinks as the school canteen will not be open.

There is a cold drink vending machine available.

Notice on Unauthorized Materials:

- Unauthorized materials include: mobile phones, smart watches, digital watches , digital cameras, MP3s, electronic dictionaries, camera pens, electronic calculators, radios, portable media players, watches with functions other than time display and all other electronic devices.

Only analog watches are allowed.

- All electronic devices will be collected by the exam supervisors before the test and will be returned after the end of the whole test. Applicants will not be able to take back and use the collected electronic devices during the break. (E.g. TOPIK II students will collect their electronic devices only after 3:40pm)

All alarms must be deactivated and all electronic devices must be turned off. There must not be any sound coming from any electronic devices. This includes all ringing tones and vibrating sounds (even if the device is on silent mode). If there is any ringing tone or vibrating sound from the device during the test, it will be considered as misconduct. The current TOPIK results will be invalid and the applicant will be barred from taking the TOPIK exam for two years.

- Hardcopy print out of application form must be placed on the desk. If it is not placed on the desk, it can be considered as misconduct. The application form must not have any other writing or hand written information on the paper.

- In the event of a dispute on the prohibited items, the exam supervisor may inspect the item (e.g. using magnifying glass) and make a decision on the outcome.

Change of Personal Information:

Please check your information on your registration confirmation form.

If you would like to make any changes, please arrive earlier on the test day and proceed to the Admin Office at the 1st floor to request and submit the change.

Changes to your information can only be made on the actual test day in the Admin Office.

Changes to your information will not be available after the test day.

Test Results Release (Dec 24th, Thursday 2020)

Online Results:

Date: 21th December 2020

Online results are only available at http://www.topik.go.kr.

Please log in with your application number (019017000XXX, 019018000XXX).

Hardcopy Result Slips:

TOPIK Center Korea will no longer be issuing and mailing the hard-copy result slips.

To check your results, simply log in to the TOPIK website and retrieve it from there.

Please be punctual and remember to print and bring your registration confirmation form together with your IC/passport/Driver’s Licence on the actual examination day.

TOPIK Information Email to Poly/Unis

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Singapore Korean International School (SKIS) presents the70th TOPIK examination happening on the 15th November, (Sunday). Please find attached the TOPIK Poster and document about the upcoming TOPIK examination.

Registration for the 70th TOPIK registration will close tomorrow, 31st, August at 4pm SHARP.

WHAT IS TOPIK?

This examination aims to set a right Korean Language learning path for overseas Koreans and foreigners who do not speak Korean as their mother tongue and promote the use of Korean language. The result of evaluation can also be used for local university applications as well as employment purpose.

Eligibility criteria

Overseas Koreans and foreigners who do not speak Korean as their mother tongue.

Ethnic Korean overseas and non-native Korean speakers for whom Korean is a second or foreign language. A wisher who wants to study in Korea A Job seeker who wants to get into Korea company in Korea or overseas Ethnic Korean overseas.

For two years from the date of issue of the result
