Location: Tiong Bahru, 1 minute walk to bus station and MRT (subway train), very convenient. Other information: food courts, supermarket, shopping centre, movie, banks, doctors & dentists are within 1 or 2 minutes walking distance. Price: single room ($2,250 per month). double room ($1,750 per month per student). Price includes: clean and quiet rooms breakfast and dinner from Monday to Sunday. air-conditioned room high-speed broad-band internet line clothes laundry and ironing wide-screen television, refrigerator, water heater, microwave, etc.. for students use. The advantages of staying in my home-stay, to mention a few, are: * The guardians are U.S. university educated, with many years experience in taking care of International students. * English is the main language spoken at home. Chinese Mandarin are also spoken, therefore those students who wish to learn and practice Chinese Mandarin are encouraged to try to speak in Mandarin, if they wish. * We always have meals together with students, so they will feel at home. The students are welcome to ask questions and to talk about anything during our "family" interactions every day. The guardians will answer your questions, and they will give you proper guidance on matters related to school, friends, and other topics which may interest you. * The guardians will try best to make sure that the friends of the students are reasonably good behavior and they are not involve in bad activities. * Those students who may need additional tuition, the guardians may assist in finding suitable tutors who are responsible and able to teach. * For those students who may want to transfer to a better school, the guardian may provide assistance in searching for a suitable school, and may also provide help in matters related to student pass from the Immigration department. * For students who are sick and in need of medical attention, the guardian will provide immediate assistance in helping the students to seek medical help for a speedy recovery.
