싱가폴에 거주하다가 캐나다나 미국 학생비자 준비할 때, 신체검사의 필요유무가 궁금합니다.
대사관 홈페이지를 보면 이렇게 명시되어있어요.
As per Immigration and Refugee Protection Act Regulation 30(1)(c), if an individual is seeking entry to Canada for a period of greater than six months, and has resided or sojourned, at any time during the one year period immediately preceding the date of seeking entry, for six consecutive months, in a designated country/territory, then he/she is required to undergo an immigration medical examination.
A country/territory is designated if there is a “YES” in the column entitled “Designated” in the following list.
그 리스트에 대한민국은 YES로 지정되어서 제가 캐나다 입국하려는 올해 9월을 기점으로 이전 6개월을 한국에 머물렀다면 당연히 신체검사를 받아야하지만, 저는 오는 8월 한달만 한국에 잠깐 들를 계획이라서 저 문구대로라면 저는 신체검사 대상이 아니라는 거죠.
(참고로, 싱가폴은 신체검사가 필요없는 NO 지정 국가입니다.)
확실하게 하고싶은데, 혹시 아시는 분 계신가요?
제가 저 문구를 잘못 이해하고 있나용?
