DOCUMENTARY FILM ON KOREANS IN SINGAPORE We are producing a documentary film about Koreans living in Singapore. The large community of Koreans in Singapore are from different backgrounds, education and careers. Most of them have done very well in their career and business in Singapore. This documentary film shows their lifestyle, their roots, their love for Korea and its culture and their feelings for Singapore, their second home. The film features 12 Koreans who have been living in Singapore for more than 2 years. A top chef, Restaurant owner, Taekwondo master, college student, computer engineer, high school student, professor, factory owner, writer are some of the subjects. Through interviews and live footage of their work and leisure, the film shows their social and personal lives, their jobs, their background, their hobbies, their happiness and frustrations, aspirations, their relationship with Singapore, how Singapore has changed their lives, what they miss here... etc. The film will be 90 minutes long. It is in English and Korean languages with English subtitle. The film will premiere in Singapore in February 2010. Later it will travel to Korea as well as a few other countries in the region. It will be shown on TV on a few countries and a DVD will be produced by end of 2010. If you would like to be a part of this documentary film in any way please contact the undersigned.
