LK Re Pte. Ltd. is a general reinsurance brokerage firm incorporated in Singapore. Clientele are large, multi-national corporation with aim to grow fast in cooperation with our parent company in Korea, LK Insurance Services – parent company - having only seven years history, it has achieved more than 30% growth every year and is now the second largest company in Korea in terms of premium transaction. Based on this background, LK Re has been launched in 2021 to expand its area of reinsurance business. LK Re works on behalf of insurance companies to facilitate the placement of Treaty and Facultative reinsurance program and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
[Roles and responsibility]
Work Type : Full-time / Intern Work Place : 138 Market Street CapitaGreen Salary : $3,500 - $4,500 monthly Report to : Chief Broking Officer Roles : Broking Support / Client Service
• To assume responsibility for and to oversee: - Reinsurance New Businesses, Renewals, Endorsements, and Claims - Broking System and Billings (i.e. Debit & Credit Notes) - Evidence of Covers (EOCs) - New Security Submission Liaison - Brokers’ liaison - Processing enquiries handling - Technical e-Filing and Documentation - Contracts administration and renewals including TOBA, KYC/CDD
• To work on allocated tasks and projects as directed in order to facilitate the business operations.
[Key Duties]
• Efficient, accurate and independent processing of reinsurance premium invoices/closings. • Prepare and submit underwriting information • Reconcile Closings & Bordereaux with data between the broking and accounting system/data • Monitor and action on Declaration / Bordereaux / Treaty • Proactive investigation, analysis and interpretation of processed accounting information. • Liaise with clients/insurers on the collection of premium and claims • Manage the revenue and renewal reports to support the broking activities • Manage the ageing reports to support collection • Good understanding of the risk management environment and requirements. • Design and implement due workflow and processes for an efficient and effective broking operation. • Design and implement due workflow and processes for the compliance of statutory requirements • Committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and quality. • Use appropriate class of business knowledge to review and verify placement documents and ensure accuracy against all correspondence.
[Key Experience / Skills]
• Fluent in Korean & English • 1+ (re)insurance experience preferable. • Proficient with various computer systems, including (but not limited to) MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint. |
