Salary:

$3,500(for fresh graduate)

The Role:

Playing an integral part in expanding our coverage of Japanese data, the role will primarily involve building relationships with, researching and updating information on Japan-based investors. It includes understanding and uploading data regarding alternative investments from various sources onto online CRM-based databases accurately and concisely on a daily basis. Communicating and maintaining relationships with Japan-based institutional investors to encourage them to provide us with information will be necessary.
Research Analysts are responsible for the maintenance and growth of Preqin’s investor databases and products, and will have the opportunity to contribute towards the production of Preqin’s leading financial publications when required. They also work with Preqin’s clients to provide relevant data and analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
Full training relevant to the role will be provided.

Key duties will include:
• Updating online databases with key financial information, statistics and analysis on which our clients depend
• Maintaining relationship with Japan-based institutional investors and investment managers via telephone and email communications. This is done by asking a series of relevant questions to the appropriate contact
• Conducting web-based research to find further information relating to Japan-based firms
• Composing profiles for online products on a daily basis with information gathered by phone calls or web-based research
• Using computer-based business applications, including Microsoft Excel, to analyse large data sets and to control for quality and accuracy
