MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

REPORT TO

MERCHANDISING MANAGER

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

- Provide administrative support to purchasing and inventory process of merchandize.

- Prepare and process all purchase orders for brands

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create purchase order file with sales data; Stock On Hand; forecast for buyer’s perusal

- Upload confirmed PO & Import Request

- Share information (PO # / Shipment List etc) with vendors

- Maintain and update brand assortment sheets

- Liaise with Warehouse / Forwarder / Operation Managers for shipment update

- Communicate with warehouse and vendors to settle any ongoing issue

- Notify Operation to STO (Stock Transfer Order) from warehouse to shopfloor after G/R process is completed.

- Prepare and maintain various sales performance reports on a weekly/monthly basis

- General administrative support

KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

- Diploma in business / Retail Management preferred

- Meticulous and high accuracy in work delegated

- Good analytical skills and have an eye for details

- Numerate & good with numbers

- Good MS Word and Excel competency level

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment independently

- Interest in perfumes & cosmetics
