This role will be handling books for the business in Korea and so we require the candidate to be able to converse in Korean due to the need to liaise with the Korean counterparts Responsibilities • Responsible for the preparation of Korean statutory books in compliance with local country statutory requirements • Preparation of US GAAP accounts and month end close. • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax and fiscal requirements • Assist with the Payroll process • Prepare the information requested by internal and external auditors • Ensure the integrity of internal financial controls, and perform other compliance initiatives • Develop knowledge of the markets serviced by the General Ledger team • Develop & Maintain Good working relationships within Shared Services Centre and local Management • Projects and Other Responsibilities Requirements • Min Degree in Accounting or equivalent • 3-4 years experience in a accountant role • Relevant exposure working in a MNC environment would be an advantage • Conversant in Korean due to work purposes Interested candidates please email your updated resume to amruta@blake-dair.com or call at 63250289 for a confidential discussion.
