GL Executive (Korean speaking) Responsibilities: We are assisting one of our outsourcing Client - a US pharmaceutical Shared Service Centre (SSC) located at City Central for individuals with good exposure in GL accounting function and proficient in using the SAP system. Reporting to the GL Manager, your role will be handling the full spectrum of GL functions for the Korean entities. Maintain Chart of Accounts centrally and coordinate monthly closing of accounts. Ensure proper and accurate accounting for the financial accounting transactions booked by SSC. Assist the GL Manager in troubleshooting accounting system problems and improve efficiency of system utilization. Coordinate the preparation of monthly accruals, balance sheet schedules and monitor the timeliness and completeness of monthly balance sheet schedules. Perform revaluation of balance sheet accounts exposed to foreign currency fluctuation. Fixed Asset Depreciation and Reconciliation in SAP SAP System Month-end and Year-end Rollover & Maintenance Period / FX etc. Routine Journals & Provisions Intercompany Accruals and Reconciliation GR / IR Review & Reconciliation CitiBank and designated Balance Sheet Reconciliations Assist the GL Manager in any other tasks assigned Requirements: Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy & Finance. At least 3 years of relevant working experience and experience in handling full sets of accounts. Exposure in SAP accounting system preferred and proficient in MS Office Excel. Well organized and meticulous with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
