(친구 부탁이니 쪽지는 절대 사절입니다) The Accountant will ensure that the financial accounting records reflect the true financial positions of the Japan group of companies in a timely and complete manner. In addition, the person will endeavor to deliver financial and non-financial information for better operational control and seek to enhance processes for greater efficiency. Reports directly to GL Lead based in Japan. Will liaise with key contacts such as Asia team members, Business controllers, HR, External CPA, Deloitte & Touche, corporate group finance, other related companies’ finance departments. Functions : 1) AP & Fixed Assets • Manage all AP processes. • Manage Fixed Assets processes. • Perform monthly, quarterly and year end closing of accounts • Prepare, review and follow up on reconciliations and schedules • Ensure that proper internal control is established and monitored for these processes 2) Management Accounting • Provide support in preparing timely, accurate and complete monthly, quarterly and yearly P&L and balance sheet reports for regions supported. • Provide expense analysis reports for business units 3) Employee Travel Expense • Manage employee travel expense claims and reimbursements • Support in tracking travel expense for business units 4) Treasury & Cash Management • Bank reconciliations • Cash flow projections • Report to Treasury Department on cash flow positions and • Liaise with Banks 5) Indirect / Sales Related Tax • Ensure compliance of local business tax requirements (e.g. Withholding Tax / Value-Added Tax /Consumption Tax, excluding corporate tax) including preparation & filing of necessary returns for these taxes. • Liaise with local CPA for tax filing / returns 6) Others • Provide support in ad-hoc projects. • Provide support in any government / corporate statistics gathering exercises. • Working experience in Japan is required. Requirements : A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or its equivalent and 2 years of relevant work experience in capacity. Experience in working within Japanese multi-nationals corporations preferred. Strong Japanese speaker from any nationality, preferably Native Korean, Native Japanese, Native Chinese. Quality driven, meticulous, team player, stress-resistant, stimulated by dead-lines, flexible, innovative and independent, willing to learn, adaptable. Good accounting knowledge, knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. Experience in ERP systems such as Oracle & Hyperion would be an advantage. Good knowledge of English & Japanese (spoken & written) and a good communicator. | ||
