| 내용 | Job description Position Summary and Responsibilities Executes transactions in accordance with guidelines established by management. Has some latitude for judgment within guidelines. Prepares analysis of instruments and alternatives and identifies optimal approach. Understands investment policies and funding strategy and recommends approaches that optimize results within policy/strategy. Negotiates the terms of transactions with outside parties. Transactions will involve large dollar amounts and analyses will support decisions that result in significant shifts of IBM cash/investments or other resources. Dealings with outside parties will be frequent and may involve selling to investors. 1. Handle direct placement of commercial paper or medium-terms notes or similar investment or borrowing and FX dealing . Have frequent dealings with investors or banks about IBM and CP and MTN programs, investment, borrowings and FX. 2. Execute transactions for investments of cash portfolio. Analyze available instruments and issues and recommend best choice given investment goals. Possible investments will be very restricted due to investment policy set by management. 3. Handle questions from issuers and investors. 4. Analyze financial market and make recommendations to management; e.g., appropriate spread levels for CP , bank deposits and MTN issuance given market conditions and IBM funding/investment strategy. 5. Prepare cash forecast for country . Analyze cash variances and implement action plan to improve accuracy of the cash forecast 6. Perform capital structure study to arrive dividend decision as well appropriate funding of Customer Financing portfolio 7. Analyze company’s exposed asset position and provide forecast 8. Provide other data collection and analysis support as part of team implementing large, strategic projects. 9. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned. Skills Environment: Professional knowledge and general understanding of financial markets and instruments. In-depth understanding of a particular market or instrument will be required in some areas of Treasury function; e.g., commercial paper. Requires strong ability to analyze data, possess solid system skills and in some areas of Treasury function, sales skills. Communication/Negotiation: Draws upon professional concepts and negotiates with outside parties (.e.g., banks, investors). generally related to specific transactions and will not be related to broad relationship matters. Prepares clear concise and informative reports/including verbal presentations. Presents recommendations to management.
