오늘 만나서 다들 너무 반가웠습니다.
정말 좋은 분들을 만나게 되어 영광입니다.
꾸준히 함께 나아 가길 바랍니다.
다음주 까지의 분량은 The five people you meet in heaven 58~102쪽까지 입니다.
모임 장소는 Wisma Atria의 TCC.
모임 일시는 8월 21일 오전 10시 30분.
첫번째 토론 주제 다시 한 번 생각해서 영어로 이야기 하기로 하였습니다.
At the start of The five people you meet in heaven, Albom says that "all ending are also beginnings."
How does it relate to this story in particular?
Share something in your life that has begun as another thing ended, and the events that followed.
두번째 챕터부터 줄거리 요약해서 말하기로 하였습니다.
줄거리 요약은 영어도 가능하며, 한글로 이야기 하셔도 됩니다.
두번째 챕터의 토론 주제는
Think about Eddies war experiences and discuss your reactions to Alboms evocation of war.
What did Eddie learn by being in war?
How did he "come home a different man"?
Why did the captain shoot Eddie?
Explore what it means when the captain tells Eddie, "I took your leg to save your life."
Why does the captain tell Eddie that sacrifice is not really a loss, but a gain?
Examine whether or not Eddie understands this, and the significance of this lesson.
Discuss what you might say to Eddie when he asks "why would heaven make you relive your own decay?".

오늘 오신 분들 모두 반가웠어요.
클럽 개설하자 마자 자발적으로 선뜻 책임을 맡아 주시는 봉사자들이 있어 너무 좋네요.
