Part-Time Web-Development Mentor

About Us

TeamSparta is a fast-moving edtech startup in South Korea offering a Web Development Bootcamp in an online full-time course(14 weeks) via a metaverse platform called Gather.town. Founded in Seoul in 2019, our vision is “anyone can make an impact with software”. We’ve certified over 400,000 students all over the world and helped them go on to build unique businesses and careers. We have taken the company to a global scale and are starting camps in multiple countries all over the world.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced software developer who could work with us on our online coding bootcamps. We need someone who is experienced in software development and is able to answer any questions that the students may have.

What is your role?

Technical Mentors are primarily responsible for ensuring students are technically prepared for a successful job search and career in the software industry. Technical Mentors are student-facing members of the team, building culture, coaching success behaviors, and talking code. Deliver technical coaching and support to students, developing their coding skills and understanding of and ability to communicate about difficult technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year of experience in Software Development
• Knowledge in at least front-end languages (Such as React)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
