<MEETUP 17Apr> Free Introduction to Hanyu Pinyin (Phonetic System for Chinese language) for our Korean & other Members (Explained in English)
Please RSVP by writing a comment below. We are getting RSVPs from all our various communities & will update the full namelist in a comment below.
Many of our Korean members & other expat members want to learn the Chinese language, so we conduct this free-of-charge introduction to Hanyu Pinyin, the phonetic system to pronounce the Chinese language. We will explain this in English. Our meetups are also for us to make friends among our Korean, Singaporean & expat members. This group is purely voluntary, for friendships & networking only, we don’t secretly earn money from you.
Despite our meetups being free-of-charge, this session’s materials are kindly provided by Ms Fang Zhixian & “Begin to learn Chinese now Chinese Wonderland” group. This sharing session is conducted by Wesley who has gone through the materials before, with support from Hwee Hoon who was often among the best students in the fields of Chinese, English & English-Chinese translation during her school days.
* Date/time: 17 Apr (Tue) 7pm - 9pm
* Venue: Food Republic at Capitol Piazza, B1-20/27, at City Hall MRT, 13 Stamford Road, Singapore 178905. Go to the area outside Food Republic (many white-coloured tables & chairs), look for a sign “I Love Korea & Singapore Meetup 한싱언어&문화교류모임”.
* Cost: Free (just buy your own drink or food from the venue)
