(Part 1) Practise chatting in Chinese (explanation in English):
Many Koreans and expats are learning Chinese, so this meetup is for you to practise chatting in Chinese, regardless whether your Chinese is good or weak. If you need explanation and you don’t understand much Chinese, we will explain in English. We welcome Chinese speakers to help (please write this when you RSVP), so if more speakers, we will allow more RSVPs. Our meetups are also for us to make friends, and chat about working and living in Singapore. This group is purely voluntary, for friendships and networking only, we don’t secretly earn money from you.
(Part 2) After chatting, we can walk around in the Chinese New Year bazaar in Bugis area, just outside the venue. This is the last day of the bazaar which sells local snacks, etc.
* Date/time: 15 Feb (Thu) 2pm (We will take around 2 hours, but anyone can leave earlier)
* Venue for Part 1: McDonald’s, at Bugis Village, 151/152 Rochor Road, Singapore 188426 (near Bugis MRT). Look for a sign “I Love Korea & Singapore Meetup 한싱언어&문화교류모임”.
* Cost: Free (just buy your own drink or lunch)
* Event Host: Hwee Hoon (speaks English & Chinese)
